Remote diagnoses on equipment onboard

Marinfonet provides an "Online Maintenance Service" for JRC marine
equipment, which utilizes the satellite communication link between ship
& shore to provide remote diagnosis of onboard equipment.
By using the service, our shore-based station in Marinefonet always watches the status of the equipment to determine if it is working properly, and if any alarm is found in the data received, the system will let you know of the status.
Then if you want to get more details to diagnose the symptom further, you can download more data of the equipment at your office.

The vessel with the Online Maintenance System is registered in our shore database and this enables us to get a quick action to analyze the trouble, to have countermeasures and to instruct to one of our three primary overseas service centers. They will in turn issue the repair order to one of our world wide service agents. If any parts are required for repair, the center we ordered will deliver them to the appropriate destination very quickly. |
